training!
Training Includes:
- 100 hours with the instructor,
- up to 50 hours of internship & session
participation.
You will learn on industry standard equipment in a
working studio:
- large format, Mixing Console setup and operation
(with and with-out AUTOMATION).
- operation of the ADAT digital recording
system
- the workings of the BRC (the ADAT system
auto-locator)
- alignment and maintenance of multi-track machines
- how to use and set: compressors, expanders,
pre-amps, equalizers and effects devices
- programming solid-state and vacuum tube devices
- mic placement, proper recording technique
- how to edit, pitch correct, and perform precise
punch-ins and -outs
- mix down techniques - building a mix/tricks and
procedures
- and the very important professionalism and
handling of studio clients
