- How and Why we got started:
Many years
ago, as a record company and
movie studio, we were looking the best recording studio to record
our projects at. After months of searching, and even trying
some "test" projects out, we were very disappointed with the
selection from which we had to choose.
Luckily, we
had someone in our company that had an extensive electrical engineering,
as well as acoustical engineering background to guide us. We found
that MANY studios tell you they have a "certain level of
quality" and that their equipment is all top of the line and wired
correctly, when in fact, almost NONE of the studios that we visited were
telling the truth! Studios were telling us that their equipment
was balanced (a method of wiring and standard to equipment that
differentiates quality wise between that of a Home Stereo Systems,
and how Professional Sound Studio or Recording
Studios sounds.) when in fact, this was the furthest from the
truth! Most people who are not electrical engineers or sound
studio experts would never know the difference -- their project would
simply sound amateurish and "noisy."

how's and why's behind balancing. - see if any other studios even
understand the workings of their equipment or if they can just give you
a good line.)
We decided to
build our own studio with some very important objectives that we would
keep in sight:
- Quality - This
was the most important aspect - after all, why even go to a studio
AND pay money if it's going to sound no better than you could do at
home for free.
- Go Beyond Current Industry
Standards - Equipment out of the box is adequate for
most consumers and "pro-sumor" sound studios (studios that
just want to make a buck and let you see a light show), but we
wanted the BEST! Every piece of equipment taht we have, almost
without exception, has been carefully "tuned," cheaper
parts replaced for better ones (even in $55,000 pieces of gear), and
in some cases, large parts of the circuits redesigned and engineered
from scratch! All of our equipment sounds better, quieter (no
buzzes and noises), and has many more features then just about any
studio in the industry (especially for those who we haven't
consulted for.)
- Price - Yes,
it all comes down to money in the end. We have spared no
expense in our equipment selection - WE HAVE THE BEST EQUIPMENT THAT
CAN BE BOUGHT. We have however, had all company staff wire,
modify, maintain, and build all of our equipment, saving us what we
have estimated to be OVER %500 percent of the original equipment
purchase prices (which was a 7 digit number already). We have
key equipment that you will ONLY find at our studio - WE INVENTED
IT, Patented IT, and BUILD IT!
